Air Powered Industrial Diaphragm Pumps
L2 and L4 self priming, air powered double diaphragm pumps are an efficient fluid pumping solution for the transfer and transport of low, medium and high viscosity fluids and can power different work points in a cost effective and efficient way at low pressure.
Air operated diaphragm pumps are a form of positive displacement pump and work by introducing compressed air through the pneumatic exchange behind one of the two diaphragms, this generates compression and pushes the product into the delivery duct, at the same time the opposing diaphragm creates a vacuum and intakes product. Once one stroke has been completed the pneumatic exchange diverts the compressed air to the opposite diaphragm and the cycle is reversed.
Our diaphragm pumps carry Atex certification, and come in either Aluminium or Stainless Steel, with a choice of seal materials, offering maximum flow-rates of 21-40 Litres per minute. Simple to use robust pumps are self priming, portable and able to pump materials with high solid or abrasive contents.
