HGS is the specific model OMMA has studied for Hot Melt adhesive application.

It’s a four rolls machine that allows spreading on single or double side of flat surfaces.
All the rolls are independently heated and motorised.

Spreading rolls can have different types of covering (rubber, stainless steel, exclusive Twin Layer) in according to the materials have to be glued by the customer.
Dosing rolls are normally in stainless steel.

Rolls’ internal heating is effected by oil: it reaches quickly the right working temperature and grant a uniformity of the heat distribution on the roll’s surface; each roll has its own temperature indicator.
Melt glue between rolls is perfectly contained by lateral sealing plates with anti adhesive material and heat resistant: they can have easily cleaned and extracted.

If the HGS is fed by a melting unit, the level sensors on board of the machine provide to maintain the glue at the right level by means a specific connection with heated pipes and feeding guns.
It's equipped with security protection, hoods for connection to the air aspiration system, motorised thickness control and electronic variable speed.

Appropriate handwheels with gravity index glue dosing indicators measure the distance between dosing and spreading roll for a fine adjustment and repetition of the glue applied.
The electric cabinet contains some digital displays and manage all functions of the machine.

On customer request, HGS can be equipped with:
• wheel on track for cleaning operation;
• Teflon treatment on infeed plan and outfeed grids;
• motorisation of infeed and outfeed rollers for short panels;
• thickness automatic positioner;
• other options on request.

Different configurations are normally evaluated by our Tech Office, to reach customer's requirements.
Standard widths are 1.400-1.700 and 2.100mm, but OMMA realizes the HGS in configuration and width demanded by the customer.

OMMA normally produces Hot Melt rolls coater (especially for caravan industry) with working width up to 3.100mm.
